Draw like a scientist

Before cameras and computers, scientists had to carefully record their findings by drawing them.

Look at the image of pollen below, magnified by a Scanning Electron Microscope, and try to draw it carefully using a pencil. Pay close attention to the details that you can see - what do you think the spiky parts are for? Do you notice any other interesting features?
